Meta Opens Early Access Program for New Muse AI Features

Meta has opened requests for early access to upcoming features in its Muse AI app, giving interested users a chance to try new capabilities announced at Connect 2026.

The company shared a prompt on X that users can send directly to Muse to signal their interest in joining the early access program.

The prompt asks Muse to let its team know the user wants to participate. Meta has not said how many people it will admit or which features will become available first.

Meta targets AI enthusiasts for early testing

Unlike a randomised A/B test, the program appears designed to attract users who actively follow and experiment with AI products. That group could provide Meta with feedback from people who already use competing AI apps and agents.

Among the features Meta previewed at Connect are a digital Muse avatar for video chats, more shopping partnerships and connectors, and expanded Mac capabilities that will allow Muse to use a computer to complete tasks.

Meta also plans to bring Muse to its AI glasses, where users can interact with the agent by saying a wake word followed by a command.
