Amazon Indiana nuclear project targets 12 small reactors
Amazon is funding development of a proposed 960-megawatt nuclear power plant at a former Indiana coal facility. AEP and X-energy will evaluate installing 12 small modular reactors to supply the regional grid and support Amazon’s data centers.
