Meta Style Sketch Launches AI Outfit Planner in Three Countries

Meta has introduced Style Sketch, an AI-powered fashion app that suggests outfits using clothes users already own. Available in Indonesia, Singapore and Thailand, it offers Instagram wardrobe integration, virtual try-ons and weather-based travel outfit planning.

Meta Style Sketch is a new AI-powered fashion app that helps users create outfits from clothes they already own. The app builds a digital wardrobe from Instagram photos or clothing images users upload manually.

First spotted by social media consultant Matt Navarra, the app is available in Indonesia, Singapore and Thailand. Users can download it through Apple’s App Store and Google Play. Meta has not announced plans to expand its release.

Meta Style Sketch Turns Existing Clothes Into Outfit Ideas

The app connects to Instagram to identify clothing from previously shared photos. Users can also add items by taking pictures, recording short videos or importing images from their camera roll.

Once the wardrobe is created, Style Sketch suggests combinations based on individual preferences and available clothing. Users can select a specific item, such as a jacket or shoes, and generate outfits around it.

The app also offers virtual try-ons using a digital model matched to the user’s body shape and skin tone. Meta says this helps users preview different combinations before wearing them.

For travel, users can enter their destination, trip duration and planned activities. Style Sketch then generates daily outfit recommendations based on the itinerary and weather forecast.

Meta Expands Its Experimental AI App Lineup

Style Sketch enters a market where apps such as Alta and Google Photos already offer AI-powered wardrobe organization and styling tools. Its Instagram integration could give it an edge by using clothing photos people have already shared.

The launch follows Meta’s Waddle World AI pet app, recently introduced in the Philippines. Meta has also released Pocket for AI-generated games and Vibes for creating AI videos.

The growing collection of standalone apps reflects Meta’s push to accelerate app development using artificial intelligence.

Earlier this year, CEO Mark Zuckerberg told employees that Meta intended to release more applications as AI improved development efficiency, The Wall Street Journal reported.

For now, Style Sketch remains a limited regional launch. Meta has not disclosed when the app might reach additional markets.
