Amazon Brings Luna Cloud Gaming to Prime Video With New Games Hub

Amazon has integrated its Luna cloud gaming service into Prime Video, allowing Prime members to play games directly from the streaming platform. The new feature launches first on Fire TV devices in the United States and the United Kingdom, bringing cloud gaming alongside movies and TV shows.

Available titles include Hogwarts Legacy, EA Sports FC 26, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, Clue, Taboo, as well as games developed by Amazon’s own gaming division, including the Courtroom Chaos series and Masters of the Universe: Legends Unite.

Gaming joins Prime Video.

Until now, Luna games were only available through the dedicated Luna app for Prime members. With the new integration, users can access a“Games” tab inside Prime Video and begin playing instantly using a compatible controller or their smartphone.

Amazon said the move is intended to make gaming as simple and accessible as watching a movie or TV show. By using cloud technology, Luna removes the need for expensive gaming consoles or high-end PCs, making games available to a broader audience.

Expanding Amazon’s entertainment platform

The company sees the integration as another step toward turning Prime Video into a complete entertainment destination. Similar to how streaming services have expanded beyond video content, Amazon is combining gaming and video entertainment within a single platform.

The launch includes both third-party games and Amazon-developed titles, giving Prime members a growing library of experiences without leaving the Prime Video app.

"For a lot of people, games have been harder to find than they should be," Jeff Gattis, Amazon's general manager of gaming, said in a statement. "Bringing Luna inside Prime Video allows Prime members to discover games more naturally, and if they see one they like, they click it and they're in."

More games and wider availability planned

Amazon said it will expand the games catalogue every month and plans to bring the feature to additional devices and countries in the coming months. The company hopes the tighter integration between Luna and Prime Video will encourage more Prime members to discover cloud gaming as part of their everyday entertainment experience.
