AI Startup Wonderful Raises $550 Million at $5 Billion Valuation

Israeli-Dutch AI startup Wonderful has raised $550 million in a Series C funding round that values the company at $5 billion, more than doubling its valuation in less than six months.

The funding round was led by Insight Partners, with participation from existing investors including Index Ventures, IVP, Vine Ventures, 9Yards and Bessemer Venture Partners. Salesforce also invested in the company for the first time.

Wonderful said the new investment will support product development, expansion of its forward-deployed engineering teams and efforts to meet growing demand for its enterprise AI platform.

Wonderful expands beyond customer service AI

Founded in early 2025, Wonderful initially gained attention with its AI customer service agent platform, which was customised for businesses in non-English-speaking markets. The company said it now operates across more than 35 countries.

The startup has since expanded its focus with Wonderful AI OS, a platform designed to connect AI agents, workflows, and applications to company data, context, and existing software systems.

The company said its platform works with different AI models and allows businesses to integrate AI tools into their existing technology environments. Customers can choose specific parts of the platform while maintaining control over the systems they build.

Wonderful continues to use forward-deployed engineers who work with customers to integrate AI solutions into their operations. The company believes this approach helps businesses implement AI tools more effectively.

The new funding comes as companies increasingly look for ways to deploy AI agents and automate business workflows. Wonderful will use the investment to accelerate development and expand its teams supporting enterprise customers.
