Apple is introducing a new subscription offering, Apple Creator Studio, a bundled package that provides access to six professional creative apps and premium content for iWork applications. The company announced the new bundle on Tuesday.

Priced at $12.99 per month or $129 per year, Apple Creator Studio includes Final Cut Pro, Logic Pro, and Pixelmator Pro on Mac and iPad, as well as Motion, Compressor, and MainStage on Mac. The bundle also unlocks premium content in Keynote, Pages, and Numbers. Apple said Freeform will be added later for iPhone, iPad, and Mac.

Apple Creator Studio will be available starting January 28, and new subscribers will receive a one-month free trial. Apple is also offering discounted pricing for college students and educators, who can subscribe for $2.99 per month or $29.99 per year.

Alongside the bundle announcement, Apple detailed a range of new features coming to its creative software. Final Cut Pro on Mac and iPad is gaining Transcript Search for locating soundbites, Visual Search for finding specific moments using text descriptions, and Beat Detection. Final Cut Pro for iPad is also adding Montage Maker to help users quickly begin edits, along with Auto Crop for automatic reframing.

Logic Pro is also receiving new tools, including Synth Player, Chord ID, an expanded sound library, natural language search, and additional enhancements.

The Creator Studio bundle also includes MainStage, which allows Macs to function as instruments, voice processors, or guitar rigs. Pixelmator Pro — a company Apple acquired in 2024 — is coming to iPad for the first time, bringing full Apple Pencil support and fast image-editing tools to more creators.

Users will also gain access to Motion, Apple’s motion graphics software for creating 2D and 3D effects, and Compressor, which works with Final Cut Pro and Motion to customise output settings for distribution.

“Apple Creator Studio is a great value that enables creators of all types to pursue their craft and grow their skills by providing easy access to the most powerful and intuitive tools for video editing, music making, creative imaging, and visual productivity — all leveled up with advanced intelligent tools to augment and accelerate workflows,” said Eddy Cue, Apple’s senior vice president of Internet Software and Services, in a press release.

Within Pages, Numbers, and Keynote, the subscription unlocks a new Content Hub with high-quality photos, graphics, and illustrations, plus premium templates and themes. Creator Studio subscribers will also gain access to beta features in Keynote, including tools that generate presentation drafts from text outlines, create presenter notes from existing slides, and automatically refine layouts and object placement. In Numbers, subscribers can create formulas and automatically populate tables using Magic Fill.

Apple noted that Final Cut Pro, Logic Pro, Pixelmator Pro, Motion, Compressor, and MainStage will continue to be available as one-time purchases through the Mac App Store. At the same time, free versions of Numbers, Pages, Keynote, and Freeform will remain available.
