Glow Emerges as $1.2 Billion AI Cybersecurity Unicorn With $180 Million Series A
Cybersecurity startup Glow has emerged from stealth with a $1.2 billion valuation after raising $180 million to develop an AI-powered endpoint security platform for enterprises.
Cybersecurity startup Glow has emerged from stealth with a $180 million Series A funding round that values the company at $1.2 billion, making it one of the latest AI-focused security firms to achieve unicorn status. The Palo Alto-based company said the investment was backed by Sequoia Capital, Cyberstarts, Greenoaks and Redpoint Ventures, alongside Index Ventures, Swish Ventures, Lux Capital, Operator Collective and Holly Ventures.
Founded in 2025 by former Meta and Snowflake executives, Glow is developing an AI-native endpoint security platform designed to help enterprises manage the growing security risks posed by artificial intelligence. The company believes traditional endpoint protection tools are no longer sufficient as businesses increasingly deploy AI agents, developer tools and generative AI applications across employee devices.
The launch comes as enterprises reassess cybersecurity strategies amid a rise in AI-assisted attacks. Concerns have grown following demonstrations of increasingly capable AI models that can identify and exploit software vulnerabilities, prompting security teams to focus more closely on preventing threats before they reach enterprise environments.
AI-powered platform monitors enterprise devices.
Glow’s platform continuously monitors software, AI agents and developer tools running across employee laptops, servers and other connected devices. According to the company, specialised AI agents map enterprise environments, assess risk in real time and automatically enforce security policies before vulnerabilities can be exploited.
“If you think of the past decade, everything was moving to the cloud and SaaS. Suddenly, AI lands on the endpoint in a way we’ve never seen,” co-founder and Chief Executive Officer Roi Tiger said.
Tiger previously served as a Meta vice president of engineering and founded Glow alongside former Snowflake cybersecurity strategy head Omer Singer, former Claroty research executive Ophir Arie and former Meta engineering leader Arnon Joseph. The leadership team also includes Chief Operating Officer Emily Heath, a former chief information security officer at United Airlines and DocuSign.
Early enterprise customers already onboard
Although only now emerging from stealth, Glow said it already serves paying customers across healthcare, retail and financial services. The company declined to identify customers but said deployments typically protect tens of thousands of employee devices across global organisations.
To power its platform, Glow uses AI models from Anthropic and Google’s Gemini through Amazon Bedrock while adding proprietary software that provides enterprise-specific context and improves the reliability of security analysis.
The startup said its platform has already blocked malicious npm software packages from entering customer environments, detected AI agents attempting to install risky components and identified employee devices where endpoint detection tools were missing or operating with reduced protection.
Competing in a crowded security market
Glow enters an endpoint security market dominated by companies including CrowdStrike, Microsoft, SentinelOne and Palo Alto Networks. Tiger said most existing endpoint detection and response platforms focus on identifying attacks after they occur. In contrast, Glow aims to prevent risky software, AI agents and developer tools from entering enterprise systems in the first place.
The company currently employs nearly 100 people, with around 70% of its workforce based in Israel and the remainder in the United States. As enterprises continue adopting AI technologies, Glow is betting that AI-native endpoint security will become an increasingly important category for protecting modern digital workplaces.
