Fitness wearable company Whoop is introducing a new blood-testing panel focused on women's health through its Whoop Labs service. At the same time, the company is adding a new feature to its app that highlights information on hormonal changes across menstrual cycles.

The startup said the panel includes 11 blood biomarkers that can provide insights into areas such as cycle regulation and hormonal transitions. These biomarkers are: Anti-Müllerian Hormone (AMH), Progesterone, Prolactin, Thyroid Peroxidase Antibodies (TPOAb), Free T4, Free T3, Leptin, Vitamin B12 (Cobalamin), Folate, Magnesium, and Phosphate (measured as Phosphorus).

According to the company, tracking these biomarkers can help users better understand perimenopause, thyroid function, nutrient sufficiency, and bone metabolic resilience when paired with data on activity, sleep, and recovery.

The test is expected to be available for users to purchase starting next month. When Whoop first introduced its blood testing service in September 2025, more than 350,000 people had already joined the waitlist.

At the same time, the Whoop app's new Hormonal Symptom Insights and Predictions feature builds a model of hormonal changes across menstrual cycles using prior data. The tool uses that model to estimate possible date ranges for a user's next period, provide insights into cycle length, period duration, and irregularities, and offer details about individual symptom patterns.

Whoop said it can also connect insights from this feature with lab results to categorise biomarker readings as "optimal," "sufficient," or "out of range."

The company also published a new white paper on the menstrual cycle that explains the modelling behind these latest features.

Fitness wearable makers have recently been pushing to add more services and features focused on women's health in response to demand from a long-underserved part of the market. Earlier this month, smart ring company Oura introduced a new AI model focused on women's health, along with a chatbot designed to provide insights based on health data and answer user questions.

Whoop said on Tuesday that the number of women using its products had risen 150% compared with a year earlier, making women its fastest-growing user segment. The company also said women engage 30% more with its Whoop AI feature.

In October 2025, Oura's chief commercial officer, Dorothy Kilroy, said that the company's fastest-growing user base was women in their twenties.
