Apple announced on Tuesday that it’s rolling out Apple Music Replay, the company’s answer to Spotify’s well-known Wrapped feature. Apple Music Replay offers users a personalised look back at their year in music, showcasing their most-played songs, artists, and albums.

This year’s edition introduces expanded insights into listening patterns, including “Discovery,” which highlights newly explored artists, and “Loyalty,” which showcases artists users have consistently listened to across multiple years. A new “Comebacks” category also spotlights musicians who returned to a listener’s rotation after some time away.

Listeners will also be able to view their total minutes streamed, the number of artists they’ve played, their longest listening streak for each artist, preferred genres, and more detailed insights.
The Apple Music Replay dashboard is accessible directly from the Home tab of the app.

Beyond the yearly recap, users can browse their monthly Replay highlights, revisit yearly summaries from every year they’ve been subscribed, and listen to their “Replay All Time” playlist — a collection of their most-played tracks since joining the service.

Artists also gain access to expanded analytics through Replay, including stats on audience growth and year-over-year changes, as well as returning metrics such as listener counts, countries, cities, and total minutes streamed.

Apple additionally revealed the top song of 2025 on Apple Music: “APT” by ROSÉ and Bruno Mars. In second place is “luther” by Kendrick Lamar and SZA, followed by Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars’ “Die With A Smile” in third. Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us” took fourth place, while Billie Eilish’s “Birds of a Feather” came in fifth.

Apple Music’s Replay arrives just a week after YouTube released its 2025 Recaps and the same day Amazon Music debuted its own year-end experience. These platforms appear to be rolling out their recaps ahead of Spotify’s expected Wrapped release, in hopes of capturing early social media buzz.
