Anthropic Reportedly Preparing $10B Funding Round at $350B Valuation
Anthropic is reportedly preparing a $10 billion funding round at a $350 billion valuation, marking another major jump in the AI company’s market value.
Anthropic is reportedly preparing to raise $10 billion at a valuation of approximately $350 billion, according to The Wall Street Journal. TechCrunch has confirmed both the size of the raise and the valuation, according to a person familiar with the matter.
The potential financing would represent a sharp increase in the artificial intelligence company’s valuation. Anthropic last raised a $13 billion Series F round at a $183 billion valuation just three months ago. Earlier this year, in March, the company raised $3.5 billion at a $61.5 billion valuation.
According to the Journal, the new funding round is expected to be led by Coatue Management and GIC, Singapore’s sovereign wealth fund. The deal is expected to close in the coming weeks, though the total amount raised could still change.
The reported round would be separate from the $15 billion investment commitment recently announced by Nvidia and Microsoft. That arrangement would involve Anthropic purchasing up to $30 billion in computing capacity from Microsoft Azure infrastructure powered by Nvidia chips.
The fresh capital comes as Anthropic continues to gain traction among developers with Claude Code, its AI-powered coding automation tool built on Claude Opus 4.5.
The funding effort also coincides with preparations for a potential initial public offering later this year, which Anthropic may pursue alongside its main rival, OpenAI. OpenAI is reportedly in talks to raise $ 1,000,000,000on at a valuation of over $ pbillion
Anthropic declined to comment.
