Tel Aviv-based AI agent startup Wonderful has raised $100 million in Series A funding, led by Index Ventures, with participation from Insight Partners, IVP, Bessemer Venture Partners, and Vine Ventures. The round brings the company’s total funding to $134 million, just four months after emerging from stealth.

The massive raise — especially in a crowded AI agent landscape — signals that investors see Wonderful as more than another GPT wrapper. The company is positioning itself as a core infrastructure provider for multi-agent systems, capable of operating across global enterprises and regional markets.

Global AI Agents Built for Every Market

Founded by CEO Bar Winkler, Wonderful builds AI agents for enterprises that can handle customer interactions via voice, chat, and email across any market and language.

Unlike many competitors, Wonderful tailors its platform to each region, fine-tuning it for language nuances, cultural context, and local regulatory requirements. The company even establishes localised deployment teams to ensure seamless integration and on-the-ground success.

That localised approach appears to be working. The startup claims that its AI agents currently handle tens of thousands of customer requests daily, achieving an 80% resolution rate. Since launching earlier this year, Wonderful has expanded its operations to Italy, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Greece, Poland, Romania, the Baltics, the Adriatic region, and the UAE.

Next Stops: Germany, Nordics, and Asia-Pacific

With its new capital, Wonderful plans to enter Germany, Austria, the Nordics, and Portugal in 2025, followed by an expansion into the Asia-Pacific region in early 2026.

But the company isn’t stopping at customer support. Because Wonderful’s system plugs directly into enterprise software stacks, its agents can quickly be adapted for new functions — including employee training, sales enablement, IT support, onboarding, and compliance management.

“The promise of AI agents is clear, but putting that into production is a huge challenge,” said CEO Bar Winkler. “It requires best-in-class technology and flawless delivery — on the ground with customers. That’s been our approach with Wonderful, and it’s what’s driving our accelerated adoption across markets.”

Why Investors Are Excited

The race to commercialise AI agents has drawn attention across the tech industry. Still, customer-facing agents remain the most mature and immediately valuable use case — reducing costs and improving response times without significant operational risks.

“Wonderful’s ability to move from concept to global scale in under a year is remarkable,” said Hannah Seal, partner at Index Ventures. “Its strength lies in deploying culturally fluent agents that work across markets and languages.”

Jeff Horing, co-founder and managing director at Insight Partners, added that Wonderful’s early traction demonstrates “just how valuable culturally aware AI agents can be to enterprises around the world.”

The Bigger Picture

As enterprises continue to test the limits of automation, AI agents are emerging as a bridge between AI research and real-world applications. By focusing on scalable, culturally adaptive deployments, Wonderful appears to have found a winning formula — one that could position it at the centre of enterprise AI’s next global wave.
