How to use ChatGPT’s new app integrations with DoorDash, Spotify, Uber, and more
Learn how to use ChatGPT app integrations with DoorDash, Spotify, Uber, and others to order food, play music, and manage tasks seamlessly.
OpenAI has introduced app integrations within ChatGPT, enabling users to connect their accounts directly and ask the assistant to perform actions on their behalf. For example, by linking a Spotify account, users can request personalised playlists that automatically appear inside their Spotify library.
To begin using these integrations, users need to be logged into ChatGPT. They can type the name of a supported app at the start of their prompt, after which ChatGPT will guide them through signing in and linking the account.
Those who prefer to set up multiple integrations at once can navigate to the Settings menu and select “Apps and Connectors.” From there, users can browse supported services, choose which ones to connect, and complete the sign-in process for each.
It’s important to understand that linking an account involves sharing certain data with ChatGPT. Users should carefully review permissions before proceeding. For instance, connecting Spotify allows access to playlists, listening history, and other personal preferences. While this data helps deliver a more personalised experience, users concerned about privacy should consider whether they are comfortable granting this level of access. At any time, connections can be removed directly from the Settings menu.
Below is an overview of the currently supported integrations and how they function:
Angi
Angi has introduced an in-app experience within ChatGPT that allows users to ask questions about home improvement projects and receive guidance. Users can also request to be matched with professionals directly. After discussing a project, they can request a quote and transition to Angi’s platform to continue with its own AI assistant.
Booking.com
The integration with Booking.com helps travellers discover accommodation options more easily. After linking an account, users can search for hotels based on budget, dates, number of guests, and preferences such as proximity to public transportation or amenities like breakfast. Once a suitable option is found, users can open the listing and complete the booking on Booking.com.
Canva
Canva integration allows users to generate visual designs directly through ChatGPT. Whether creating social media graphics, presentations, or posters, users can specify details such as colour schemes, fonts, formats, and dimensions. While AI-generated designs may require adjustments, users can quickly move into Canva to refine their projects.
Coursera
With Coursera, users can search for courses tailored to their skill level. For example, they can request an intermediate-level Python course and compare options based on duration, ratings, and cost. ChatGPT can also summarise course content before users proceed to enrol.
DoorDash
DoorDash integration helps streamline meal planning and grocery shopping. Users can ask for meal suggestions, automatically add ingredients to their cart, and proceed to checkout. This feature is currently available in the U.S. with participating retailers such as Kroger, Safeway, Fairway Market, and Wegmans.
Expedia
Through Expedia, users can browse flights and hotel options directly within ChatGPT. They can filter results by preferences such as star ratings, travel dates, and budget, then finalise bookings on Expedia’s platform.
Figma
Figma integration allows users to generate diagrams, flowcharts, and visual representations of ideas. It can also assist in building product roadmaps with milestones, deliverables, and deadlines, helping teams organise projects more effectively.
Quizlet
Quizlet offers a native integration that lets users convert notes, documents, or conversations into flashcards and other study materials. It also supports an active practice mode and provides access to a large library of study sets.
SeatGeek
SeatGeek integration helps users find tickets for events, including sports games, concerts, and family-friendly activities. It can recommend options such as the best seats, most affordable tickets, or ideal views for specific events.
Spotify
Spotify integration allows users to create playlists, discover new artists, and receive personalised recommendations for music, audiobooks, and podcasts. ChatGPT can also perform actions like adding or removing tracks from a user’s library, making it a powerful tool for managing content.
Target
Target introduced its integration ahead of Black Friday, enabling users to request product suggestions and build shopping carts directly in ChatGPT. For example, users can request ideas for a themed event, and ChatGPT will generate a list of items available for purchase, which can then be checked out via their Target account.
Uber
Uber integration helps users plan trips by finding available ride options. While booking and payment are completed within the Uber app, ChatGPT simplifies the discovery process. The feature is currently limited to U.S. users and supports on-demand rides, including UberX, UberXL, Comfort, and Black.
Additionally, Uber Eats integration allows users to browse local restaurants and menus before completing their order in the Uber Eats app.
Wix
Wix integration enables users to generate fully functional websites using text or voice prompts. Users can describe design preferences, features, and functionality. Existing Wix users can also manage operations such as scheduling, payments, SEO, and performance directly through ChatGPT.
Zillow
Zillow integration simplifies home searches by allowing users to specify criteria such as price range, number of bedrooms, and preferred neighbourhoods. ChatGPT then filters listings accordingly, making the process more efficient and personalised.
What’s next?
Alongside these integrations, OpenAI has indicated that more partners will be added soon, including OpenTable, PayPal, and Walmart, all expected to roll out in 2026.
At present, ChatGPT’s app integrations are available only in the United States and Canada. Users in Europe and the United Kingdom do not yet have access to these features.
