Threads Adds New Tools to Help Podcasters Grow Their Audiences
Threads is launching new podcast tools that help creators promote shows, share episodes, engage listeners, and track audience activity.
Meta’s Threads is introducing new tools designed to help podcast creators promote their shows, grow audiences, and interact with listeners directly on the platform.
The company announced the new features as Threads expands its role as a place for podcast discovery and discussion. Unlike platforms focused on hosting audio content, Threads is positioning itself as a space where creators can share episodes and build conversations around their shows.
Meta announced the new podcast features, including new profile and post tools for creators.
New podcast tools for creators
Threads will now display podcast profile cards and banners on creator profiles and posts. When creators share episode links, those links will appear as interactive cards that allow users to access the content quickly.
Podcast hosts can also share episode transcripts directly on Threads, tag featured guests, and create posts that listeners can save for later. The platform will also remind creators when new episodes are released, helping them share updates with followers.
Audience insights and podcast growth
Threads is adding analytics tools that give creators more information about how audiences interact with their posts. These insights include views over time from followers, non-followers, and overall audiences.
The update builds on previous podcast-focused features introduced by Threads, including improved link cards and options for creators to connect their podcast profiles with the platform.
Threads has grown rapidly since launch and reached 500 million active users in June. The new podcast tools are part of Meta’s broader effort to make Threads a stronger platform for creators and online communities.
