TikTok Users Can Now Share Tracks and More from Amazon Music

TikTok is introducing a new feature that allows users to share content directly from Amazon Music on the social media platform, the company confirmed exclusively to TechCrunch.

With a new “Share to TikTok” button, Amazon Music users can now post songs, albums, playlists, and even personal listening highlights from their Amazon Music Insights directly to TikTok — expanding the connection between music streaming and social sharing.

How It Works

Amazon Music Insights is a newly launched personalised feature that provides users with a closer look at their listening habits. It includes Monthly Recaps, spotlighting top artists, most-played songs, favourite podcasts, and total listening time. Now, users can share these detailed stats straight to TikTok with a single tap.

TikTok already offers similar integrations with Spotify and Apple Music, but adding Amazon Music strengthens the app’s music-sharing ecosystem and gives creators another way to highlight their favourite tracks.

Expanding a Growing Partnership

According to TikTok, this update builds on its existing partnership with Amazon Music through the “Add to Music App” feature, which allows users to save songs they discover on TikTok directly to Amazon Music and other primary or streaming services.

Thursday’s announcement further aligns TikTok and Amazon Music, two platforms that heavily influence what songs dominate global music charts.

Why It Matters

TikTok’s ability to drive song popularity has transformed how artists reach their audiences, and this new integration provides users with another tool to share and engage with their favourite music. By adding Amazon Music to its list of “Share to TikTok” partners, the platform deepens its influence in music discovery and strengthens its role in connecting fans, creators, and artists.
