Rockstar Releases GTA 6 Launch Trailer Ahead of November 19 Debut
Rockstar has released the GTA 6 launch trailer, showcasing more of Vice City, Jason and Lucia, and new music ahead of the game’s November 19 console release.
Rockstar Games has released the official launch trailer for Grand Theft Auto VI (GTA 6), offering another look at Vice City ahead of the game’s November 19, 2026, release on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The new 90-second video arrives more than a decade after GTA 5 and spotlights the game’s setting, characters, and soundtrack.
The official launch trailer returns to the fictional state of Leonida, particularly the Miami-inspired Vice City. It highlights the city’s atmosphere and cinematic presentation without revealing much new gameplay.
At the centre of the story are Jason and Lucia, two protagonists whose criminal partnership becomes increasingly dangerous after a robbery goes wrong. The incident draws them into a larger conspiracy across Leonida, leaving them dependent on each other as they attempt to survive.
Music is another major part of the reveal. The trailer features “Flower in a Hurricane,” a new single from French electronic duo Justice, featuring Tame Impala, SZA, and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard. Justice also composed the game’s original score, adding a major musical element for a franchise known for its extensive soundtracks and radio stations.
Rockstar previously released a more detailed extended look at GTA 6 in August 2026, showcasing more of the game’s world and presentation. The latest trailer is a shorter promotional preview, emphasising the characters, atmosphere, and music rather than introducing major new features.
Grand Theft Auto VI launches on November 19, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Rockstar has already opened pre-orders, with digital pre-loading scheduled to begin November 12. The company has not announced an official PC release date.
