YouTube Releases New AI Features for Creators in Studio App
YouTube adds AI-powered Studio features that help creators analyse videos, improve content, test thumbnails, and grow audiences.
YouTube is introducing new AI-powered tools inside its Studio app to help creators analyse content, improve videos, test ideas, and better understand audience performance.
The updates include expanding Ask Studio to iOS and Android, AI feedback for unpublished videos, improved analytics insights, and new thumbnail and title creation tools. YouTube announced the updates during its Made On YouTube event.
AI Feedback and Content Research Tools
The new draft-feedback feature lets creators share unpublished videos with AI and receive suggestions on pacing, structure, and storytelling. YouTube says the tool can help creators spot areas to improve before publishing.
YouTube is also adding a research feed inside Studio that highlights content trends and examples of videos performing well on the platform, allowing creators to use those insights when developing new content.
New Thumbnail and Testing Features
The Studio app will allow creators to generate video titles and thumbnails based on their content and personal style. A new dynamic thumbnail feature will let creators create multiple thumbnail options and show different versions to audience segments to determine which performs better.
YouTube said creators have already used its A/B testing tools for more than 40 million title and thumbnail experiments. The company plans to expand testing to include multiple video cuts, allowing creators to compare different openings and hooks.
Smarter Analytics for Creators
YouTube is updating analytics tools to provide more than basic performance numbers. The company says creators will receive additional explanations for why videos perform in certain ways, along with suggestions for improving engagement.
The Studio app updates are part of YouTube’s broader effort to give creators more tools for video production, audience growth, and content optimisation.
