Google Alumni Launch $11.3 Million AI Fund to Back Enterprise-Focused Startups
Former Google executives Bonita Stewart and Jackson Georges have launched an $11.3 million fund to invest in enterprise AI startups.
Former Google executives Bonita Stewart and Jackson Georges launched an $11.3 million venture fund to invest in early-stage AI startups building enterprise solutions.
BAG Ventures has already invested in 10 companies, including AI-focused startups working across software, travel, and agentic technology. The fund targets areas such as AI infrastructure, compute, physical and edge AI, security, governance, and vertical SaaS.
Backing AI Startups Built for Enterprise Needs
BAG Ventures provides investments ranging from $100,000 to $500,000 and plans to deploy the remaining capital over the next two years. The firm was founded by Stewart, a former Google vice president, and Georges, a former CapitalG partner.
The founders said their focus is on helping startups move beyond AI experimentation and build products that deliver measurable value for enterprise customers.
Georges said enterprises increasingly want AI solutions that integrate into existing workflows and complete specific tasks, rather than general-purpose chatbot tools.
Focus on Enterprise AI Infrastructure and Agents
The firm is looking for startups with experienced technical teams, early products, customer partnerships, and a clear path to monetisation. It is also interested in companies building products with proprietary data and deeper enterprise workflow integration.
BAG Ventures is also focused on areas such as AI security, governance, and identity management for AI agents as companies begin deploying more autonomous systems.
The fund’s investors include Google and operators from companies such as Nvidia, Amazon, and Snowflake. BAG Ventures said its network is designed to provide founders with customer introductions and operational support alongside capital.
