The company’s latest product update focuses on helping users discover stays and experiences while adding more services directly inside the Airbnb app.

AI Search Brings More Personalised Travel Discovery

Airbnb is introducing an AI search feature that allows users to find properties through text or voice prompts. The system can generate dynamic filters based on user preferences, helping travellers narrow down options more naturally.

For example, searching for family-related needs can automatically surface filters such as cribs, playgrounds, or children’s items. Airbnb is also using AI to highlight important property features and create summaries that help users compare listings in their wish lists.

More Services and Social Travel Features

The company is expanding services launched last year, including meal delivery, laundry, baby-gear rental, ski and boat rentals in select locations, and broader grocery delivery options.

Airbnb is also adding more social discovery tools. Users can view travel maps based on their connections’ past or upcoming trips, see where friends stayed, and explore experiences they selected. Travellers can choose whether to share their trips with others.

Airbnb is building neighbourhood pages using guest reviews and other information sources to help travellers discover local restaurants, activities, and places to visit.
