Meta Introduces Muse Charm AI Wearable for Personal Assistant

Meta is reentering the AI wearable market with Muse Charm, a small device that gives users direct access to the company’s Muse personal AI assistant.

CEO Mark Zuckerberg revealed the device at Meta’s Connect event, but it isn’t available yet. The company says Muse Charm is expected to ship in December, during the holiday season.

A Pocket-Sized Device for Meta AI

Muse Charm is designed as a palm-sized wearable that users can carry in a pocket or attach to a keychain. The device includes a small display showing Jolly, a digital avatar representing Meta’s Muse AI assistant.

Users can interact with the device through voice commands, allowing Muse to help with tasks without unlocking a smartphone or opening an app.

Meta Experiments With AI Companion Hardware

Zuckerberg said the company built the device to make accessing Muse faster and more convenient, especially for users who are not wearing Meta’s AI glasses.

The wearable draws inspiration from devices like Tamagotchi, combining a digital personality with a physical gadget designed for frequent interaction.

Another Path for Meta’s AI Assistant

Muse Charm represents Meta’s broader effort to bring its AI assistant into more everyday devices. Instead of relying only on phones or glasses, the company is testing smaller hardware formats that keep AI access available throughout the day.

The device is still under development, and Meta has not announced final pricing or full availability details.
