Everything Google Announced at Made by Google 2026: Pixel 11, Watch 5, Pixel Tag and Gemini

Google used its Made by Google 2026 event to introduce the Pixel 11 smartphone family, Pixel Watch 5 and a new Pixel Tag tracker, while putting Gemini at the centre of many of its latest software features.

The announcements show Google continuing to tie its hardware strategy closely to AI. Alongside updated phones and wearables, the company introduced new tools for transcription, accessibility, visual search and contextual assistance.

Gemini takes a bigger role across Pixel devices.

One of Google’s notable accessibility additions expands Live Transcribe with support for American Sign Language. Using a Pixel phone’s camera, the feature can translate sign language into text, giving users another option for communicating across hearing abilities.

Google also introduced Rambler, a voice input feature designed to handle natural speech rather than requiring users to dictate carefully structured sentences. It can process pauses, filler words, and less organised speech, turning the input into more usable text.

Circle to Search is also moving closer to the camera experience. Users can identify objects, translate visible text and ask questions about what they see without first leaving the camera.

Pixel 11 lineup starts with 256GB of storage.

The standard Pixel 11 receives a redesigned camera bar that Google says is more than 40% thinner than the previous generation’s. The new design uses an all-glass surface extending across the rear of the phone.

Google has eliminated the 128GB starting configuration, making 256GB the base storage capacity. The Pixel 11 starts at $899 and will be offered in Frost, Hibiscus, Pistachio and Obsidian.

The Pixel 11 Pro and Pixel 11 Pro XL focus partly on durability. Google says the Pro models offer improved drop resistance and use a new display coating that provides more than twice the scratch resistance of their Pixel 10 Pro predecessors.

The Pixel 11 Pro starts at $1,099. Google is offering the Pro models in Canyon, Fog, Olive and Obsidian, with the Obsidian version adopting an all-matte finish.

Pixel 11 Pro Fold gets thinner and lighter.

Google is also updating its foldable. The Pixel 11 Pro Fold is nearly 10% lighter and almost 1 millimetre thinner than the previous model, according to the company, while retaining the general form of Google’s existing foldable design.

The phone has slimmer bezels, a 48-megapixel main camera and digital zoom of up to 30x. Google has also redesigned the hinge and added a glass-fibre composite rear cover intended to improve durability.

The company says the changes make the Pixel 11 Pro Fold three times more durable than its predecessor. It will be available in Olive and Obsidian.

Pixel Tag gives Google an AirTag rival.

Google is entering the dedicated item-tracker market with Pixel Tag, a $29 accessory designed for belongings such as keys, bags and luggage.

Pixel Tag works withAndroid’ss Find Hub network, allowing compatible Android devices to help locate a missing tag. Owners can also locate a Pixel Tag through a Pixel Watch, while Pixel Buds users can ask Gemini to find or ring a tag.

The tracker will cost $29 individually or $99 for a four-pack, giving Google its own first-party alternative to Apple’s AirTag within the Android ecosystem.

Pixel Watch 5 expands health and Gemini features.

The Pixel Watch 5 combines a more proactive Gemini experience with additional fitness, sleep and wellness features. Google says the watch can surface relevant information based on context and allow users to interact with Gemini directly from their wrist.

Google Health will provide monthly summaries showing long-term trends in blood pressure and insulin resistance. The company presents these capabilities as wellness tools for identifying patterns over time rather than replacements for professional medical diagnosis or care.

The 41mm Pixel Watch 5 starts at $399, while the larger model starts at $429. Google is also offering a Stephen Curry edition priced at $579 with a workout-focused design.

Google rounded out the hardware announcements with a new Olive colour for Pixel Buds Pro. Taken together, the Made by Google 2026 lineup reinforces the company’s strategy of using Pixel hardware as a platform for Gemini, with AI increasingly extending across communication, accessibility, photography, health, and everyday device interactions.
