Spotify Now Integrates Directly With DJ Software From rekordbox, Serato, and djay
Spotify has added direct integration with rekordbox, Serato, and djay, allowing Premium users in 51 markets to mix playlists and access their full music libraries seamlessly within DJ software.
Spotify announced on Wednesday that it now offers direct integration with desktop DJ software from rekordbox, Serato, and djay. This update allows users to access their entire music libraries and playlists directly within these platforms, making it easier to build sets and seamlessly mix tracks.
“You can effortlessly mix songs from Spotify using supported DJ software, curating your sets to build momentum or create mood shifts between tracks,” the company wrote in a blog post. “Just log in to access Spotify’s entire music catalog, including your playlists and Spotify’s editorial selections. It’s a seamless way to take creative control and make every set uniquely yours.”
The feature is available exclusively to Premium subscribers and will roll out across 51 markets worldwide.
Spotify noted that this integration follows shortly after it introduced track-to-track transitions for Premium users, enabling smoother mixing within personal playlists.
This announcement adds to a series of recent upgrades for the streaming platform. Spotify has also rolled out lossless music streaming, allowing free-tier users to select and play songs, new smart filters, in-app messaging, and other enhancements.
