European vibe-coding startup Lovable has raised $400 million in a Series C round at a $13.3 billion valuation, more than doubling its valuation from its previous financing.

The round was led by Menlo Ventures and the Scaleup Europe Fund, with more than a dozen other investors participating. The financing follows Lovable’s $330 million round announced in December, which valued the company at $6.6 billion and was led by Menlo Ventures with CapitalG as co-lead.

Lovable reaches $500 million in annualised revenue

The new investment comes after Lovable reached $500 million in annualised run-rate revenue in June, according to the company. The milestone highlights the rapid growth of AI-powered software development tools that allow users to build applications by describing what they want in natural language.

Lovable says its platform now hosts about 60 million projects that collectively attract around 900 million visits each month. That growth is also increasing the company’s infrastructure requirements as it expands the technology behind its service.

In addition to providing access to established frontier AI models, Lovable has developed an internally trained AI model for parts of its platform.

Lovable expands its AI infrastructure

In June, Lovable signed a multi-year agreement with Google Cloud that significantly expanded its use of the company’s cloud infrastructure. The partnership is intended to provide additional computing capacity as Lovable’s user base and AI workloads continue to grow.

The company has also begun investing in other European technology startups, including Denmark-based Atech, which is developing vibe-coding software focused on hardware design.

The latest round gives Lovable additional capital to scale its infrastructure and products while competing in a fast-growing market for AI-assisted software development. Its jump from a $6.6 billion valuation in December to $13.3 billion underscores how quickly investor expectations around the company have risen.
