Nectar Social secures $30M Series A funding led by Menlo Ventures
Nectar Social has raised $30 million in a Series A round led by Menlo Ventures to expand its AI-powered marketing operating system and social analytics platform.
Nectar Social, an AI-powered marketing platform focused on helping brands manage social activity and customer engagement, announced on Thursday that it has secured $30 million in Series A funding. Menlo Ventures led the investment round along with its Anthology Fund, an investment initiative created in partnership with Anthropic.
The company officially emerged from stealth mode last year and describes itself as an “agentic operating system” designed specifically for marketers. According to Nectar Social, the platform uses autonomous AI agents to help brands manage a wide range of marketing operations, including social activity, moderation, creator workflows, competitive intelligence, and commerce-related conversations end-to-end.
Nectar Social also said it has established data partnerships with companies, including Meta and Reddit. Those integrations allow the company’s AI agents to gather and consolidate information from multiple platforms into a single centralised system, reducing the need for brands to rely on separate tools to manage different social networks and digital channels.
The startup was founded by sisters Misbah Uraizee and Farah Uraizee, both former Meta employees. Misbah Uraizee, who currently serves as CEO of the company, said the newly raised capital will be used to expand Nectar Social’s operations and hire additional talent across applied AI, engineering, and go-to-market teams.
“The buying conversation has moved into social, and no human team can staff every place it happens,” Misbah said. “We’re accelerating our category lead in building the operating system that lets brands show up everywhere.”
According to the company, current clients already using the platform include Liquid Death, Figma, and e.l.f. Beauty. Additional investors participating in the funding round include Kinship Ventures, the investment firm associated with Gwyneth Paltrow, as well as GV and True Ventures.
